Leap of Faith
Why the name?
Leap of Faith was given this name to explain the action of a searching soul.
When we long for God and search for Him, our reasoning can take us just SO far, and our faith has to take a leap to jump to the final conclusion that He is. Like the Bible says “ I Am who AM” A leap of faith into the arms of Christ is what is needed for us to believe totally in God. Take a leap of faith with us and learn about our Catholic faith. We walk by faith and not by sight.
Mission Statement
This site is committed to proclaim the Roman Catholic Faith for the Glory of God. In establishing Leap of Faith, we hope to offer an oasis of faith to those who come thirsting for the love of God.
In October 1996, we began Leap of Faith. We are committed to proclaim the Roman Catholic Faith and are totally faithful to Pope John Paul II. This webpage is full of information about our Catholic faith and traditions. Most of the articles are written and produced by us. There are testimonies of faith to encourage the reader to walk with the Lord.
Believing that prayer leads to God, we try to share with the Internet surfer how we have prayed through the years. We invite everyone to share their burdens with us in the prayerline. The prayer requests are prayed for every day. We hope that as individuals stop by, they may be able to share their burdens with us by requesting prayers in the Prayerline.
A few years ago, we began what was to become the "Saint Thomas Aquinas Pamphlet Ministry." We have produced several pamphlets which are available at St. Thomas Aquinas, Sugar Land, Texas. Most of them have been placed in the webpage. They include for your reading enjoyment:
